With the amount of Money being talked about heading Nick Saban's way, if he ends up being the Texas coach, it got me thinking, what draw is there to coach in the NFL if the money is in college coaching.

I know each job had its pluses and minuses but if you had to choose, where would you rather coach and why?

I would personally choose college because of the kids you coach are inspired to make millions and haven't made them yet. I would think the Pro players, who can be making more than the coach, might be difficult to manage or motivate.

Also, college coaches seem to have more job stability or at least given more rope to hang themselves. If your great in college, your options become limitless.

I know recruiting can be a pain and having to deal with the NCAA but I see this as maybe the only downside to coaching in college.

The NFL is where great coaches and great players want to be. Bottom line. Why would anyone want to spend half their time begging teenagers to play for them when they could be coaching the best football players in the world and against the best coaches in the world?
