The first couple times I practice shooting was with a 30-06. It's the gun my father in law had. Very nice gun. I know it is a shotgun, but I liked the 20 gauge I shot at the hunter safety course. Not a lot of kick and eardrums was still intact with my earplugs in. Is their something along the line of a rifle that is about the same?
Also, a lot of my in laws said Ruger American Rifle as well, and I see several on here too.
