I looked at LAS, bayoubucks, and craigslist. Anywhere else you guys would recommend? I need a small outboard, 6hp or below.

Something will eventually show up on Craigslist, but you may need to be patient. I've purchased a few things through Craigslist but outboard sellers have been the worst. I drove out of town twice to look at motors and neither time could the seller start the motor despite assuring me the motors ran. Total waste of time.

outboards are expensive. They don't lose their value at all and most craigslist purchasers try to low ball sellers.
Doesn't make for a good craigslist environment for outboard sales.

if you have a boat mechanic that you trust let him know to keep an eye out for you. it worked for me in the past.

I was looking for a 9.9 and Charlie Ward's had one. I eventually found the same motor for hundreds less by being patient.
