He's spent seven years trying to live down that comment from when he was at the Dolphins. Now, he has specifically gone out of his way on 60 Minutes, Sportscenter w/ Tom Rinaldi, and FS1 w/ Erin Andrews, and said he wasnt leaving. If he leaves, his legacy and reputation are forever in tatters. He'd be really stupid to do that to himself.

Of course things change but I don't know if they change this much in a month.

he'd be stupid for passing on that money. Imagine his legacy if he won a NC at Texas too.

Absolutely. I just posted something on the Bama board. If Saban were to leave, it will be ugly. There's just no graceful exit possible at this point, and that's really a shame. That being said, he ain't going anywhere.

Saban is all about chasing history. If he does it again in Austin, he will become undoubtedly the greatest college coach ever.

ETA: IMO he isn't built to be in one spot for 10 years
