For some reason that doesn't surprise me. On the other hand, there aren't too many teams more penalized than we are. Like I said, our specialty is committing drive-killing penalties on offense and drive-extending penalties on defense. I just hope we don't rack up the penalties along with TO's.

If/when we don't play clean and rack up a bunch of penalties, it's a long day for Iowa fans. We're not built to play from behind the chains.

Another big key in this game is what LSU will allow on 1st and 2nd down. If Iowa is stuck in 3rd and long all the time we will also be up shite creek. Will be interesting if LSU takes a high-risk/high-reward approach with the thought that we don't have enough playmakers on the perimeter to take advantage of things. Could very well happen, but I do like the ability of our TEs to keep the LBs and safeties honest.

Brew, I agree. I think our WR will struggle this game but our TE should be a focal point of our offense. CJF is a mismatch in any game. If their DL isnt ready we will be grinding all game with an occasional long ball thrown in. Pretty much typical Iowa under Ferentz..
