ESPN hasn't had competition for so long that I just automatically turn to them when looking for sports. Rarely even think about FS1.

but now... the sport is just another channel changer for me. I guess it was just interesting for me during the late 90's b/c I was still in high school. Most of the guys at our school loved that shite too. Seemed like it was the new thing to do back then but it died off pretty quick for most if I remember right.
I still love the sport, but they have over saturated it a bit onto the market and it has lost some of its initial shock appeal. Plus everyone is so skilled now, that you see a lot more stalemate action then there used to be in the past, and submissions are very rare except for when a fighter has mentally broke and just gives up his back to get choked so he can tap out.
With all of that said, I still love it. I wrestled my whole life, and have former teammates and competitors who have made it fairly big in the UFC/Bellator. With wrestling not having much in terms of a pro league except for the Olympics it's a close enough transition for me to keep me hooked. The sad thing is I hate 95% of the fans who like the sport, so I prefer to talk college football!

Crowd Goes Wild is one of my favorite shows right now, and Katie Nolan is a dime

There were some bad events in 2012 but this year has been freaking amazing as far as action packed fights! The Jones/Gustafsson and Sanchez/Melendez fights were two of the best fights I have ever seen. Plus with Anderson Silva getting KO'ed and GSP getting the shite beat out of him, he "won" but it was total BS, this year has been crazy and very action packed! The sport is better than ever, I just don't agree with the quoted statement AT ALL!!

I haven't watched any of the programs but I've seen a bunch of games on FS1 and the overall production of those games is pretty terrible compared to ESPN's. They need to work on that.

It's pretty lame, imo. I do like the extra live CFB and CBB games though.
