I went long today. $4.50/$5.00 call spreads for both Dec and Jan.

Hmm, how much on target have those guys been in the past?
Force what's your opinion on that? A low 80 injection that is? Do you expect more?

Very interesting... It will definitely be a gamble on Thursday. Trying to decide when I should flip to go long... Was hoping to see DGAZ around $5 before doing so.

I think we'll see a bounce or two with some late summer heat and a more NG heavy power burn, with prices dropping to last week's levels or lower in the shoulder months as supply concerns ease. If I see that happen I'm going to pounce on winter calls then.
If it were me, I wouldn't be in DGAZ trying to wait out a top at this point of the year. Even if NG trades relatively flat into early winter, the leveraged funds will continue decaying.

I wouldn't try to time the bottom either. Again, I went long already. Options on futures. I will try to time the bottom if I jump in on a long UNG play.

I need the Force to be with me. Need some reassurance here that we have one more run to go.

Something has to give today. Cash has been slowly creeping up. Unnoticed it seems. Cash and September delivery are disconnected .105 currently, and the futures are trading up in anticipation of this morning's report.
I vaguely remember one surprise on the EIA report. It sure seems the market has "guessed"* correctly the majority of these injection reports.

Leakage again. Here We Go Natty Gas, Here We Go.

Is 82 legit? I know there has been more industrial demand but last week cool temps across the country should have stockpiled a good bit of Nat gas.. Force, do you for see $5 DGAZ this season?

Must've been by looking at the reaction. Fooled me, I thought we were in for a continued plunge.

Force, you still seeing any push for staying short? Thanks for your input brotha!

Cash trades lower towards the end of last week, and here we go up on Sunday night in the future's market.
I think we might get one more decent injection report, gas will settle lower for early fall and then it's all about winter weather. There are some issues with increased Canadian production also, but I think this winter sees no less than $4.50 natty gas.

So do you repeatedly hit your finger with a hammer just so you can tell everyone how much it hurts?

Getting crushed tonight. Still. On projections of 85.
