Saban at UTX would have more lucrative opportunities for corporate speaking and endorsements ---e.g dell computer & other big companies
Alabama-- the state--has one Fortune 500 company HQ
the 10M/12M type of dollar figures in base salary could cause some academic backlash at UTX...

Counterpoint to that is that Nick Saban can get any speaking engagement he wants right now....anywhere, especially in the south.
If Saban gets/has the right PR agent, where he coaches(d) doesn't matter. Nick Saban is his own brand now.
Honesty, at this point it's pretty much down to what Terry Saban wants.
