this is a tradition (& a good one)...but don't make it sound like the players all get together and say, "hey, let's go sing the alma mater to the students" I guarantee more than half don't know the alma mater.

get over yourself....if you really believe that a 5* player's deciding factor is the student section at the home games, then you are truly delusional.
Overall atmosphere at games matters, sure. But how much it matters and, more importantly, the extent of that overall atmosphere directly attributable to the student section is debatable.

That being said, the overall stadium attendance is a real problem....certainly in the SS but also elsewhere.
