mett will be 24 by the time he's ready to compete for playing time in the nfl.

and? that's not crazy if you're a RS Sr. and you don't play your rookie yr (see Carson Palmer). Weeden was like 28 and got drafted in the 1st a couple yrs ago.

Matt Barkley tore his throwing shoulder at the same point in the season and he went in the top of round 4. Mett is a much better prospect that Barkley was coming out.

And? Weedon was a 30 year old that got drafted in the 1st
