honestly football coaches are above cowtowing to ADs any more. Patterson isn't going to tell Mack what to do. He doesn't have that power. He may have it over Barnes or Augie but not Mack. Hell, I know at A&M, Sumlin doesn't even report to Hyman. Completely outside that chain.

I agree, but those same boosters would also be the ones that hired Patterson. I think they all know going in what the game plan is. So, the only real question is if Mack still has enough support from those same guys.
