Yet Les Miles and LSU got berated by fricking espn even before sec set the 25 limit. Oh yeah and that player is our starting center.

I still dont see how teams like Tamu, Aub and Tenn have signed 30 recently. Yet Les is one of the biggest oversigners according to the media.

In fact we only oversigned once, and i think its because all the players actually qualified when the staff didnt think they would. So id think thats a good thing. Oh shite these guys hunkered down and made their grades, now lets bash LSU and their head coach.

Agreed. Still waiting for the report of how Elliot Porter went from greyshirt to starting center and his whole life wasn't ruined. I'm sure it will be on ESPN next week.

I don't see how people still don't understand how the SEC over-signing rules work. You can have 25 counters per calendar year. If in the previous class you did not have 25 counters, you can back count from your current class with early enrollees provided you have room on the 85 for those players (this is key). The schools that are signing classes of 30+ are NOT over-signing.

There was a real problem with over-signing and I would argue that it's been fixed with the current rules.

Tennessee this year is an exception. I don't know how they're going to fit these guys in with only 5 available spots for back counters in the last class. They won't be able to get all of their current commits in this class.
