LSU fans have garnered the reputation of being quick to turn on you

I dont understand why this is a bad thing. Yes, if you are a quality player we want you in P&G, but as soon as you go to Bama, Auburn, Texas, A&M, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Southern Cal or Wyoming I hope you do not have success. I dont wish personal harm on you, or that your life sucks, but I do not wish that you have a successful career unless its in P&G. Hoping you have a good career not at LSU and that coming to fruition directly contradicts me wanting LSU to succeed.

Ill also say, that to think that LSU fans are the worst is a little short sighted. There are "those" kinds of fans at every school, they are just exposed to "those" fans at LSU because they live here. Ask Cyrus Kouandjio. He caught shite from Bama fans for committing to Auburn, then caught shite from Auburn fans for signing with Bama. It happens everywhere, its just their way of justifying them leaving the state.

great post. this goes on everywhere. we think we are the worst because we are exposed to our own. sure, the majority of posters may not be as happy go lucky as say iowa hawkeye or minnesota golden gopher supporters but they aren't as passionate as a lot of our fans. this stuff means a lot to a ton of people here and for some, right or wrong, is the glue that holds their life together.

short story, most recruits know that at the end of the day, this is a small sample size, not the majority of the 93k that will be cheering for them on gameday. it is not going to affect their final decision at the end of the day as much as ppl think. there may be a small portion that affects it, but it is also a small portion of fans who behave this way.

the people that comnplain about this stuff and freak out about it to the point where you can't as much as critique a play or a player make recruiting and following the sport just as un-fun as those who do such. everyone needs to just get a grip.

i have plenty of other thoughts on this matter, but i don't want to get banned.
