The SECW is so tough that Bama who has won 3 NCs in five years will have only gone to Atlanta twice in those same five years.

Good point about defense. You have to defend a power team like Bama/LSU and then beat a team like Ole Miss/A&M with spread O's and running QBs and then defend an Auburn who is playing a spread/single wing type attack featuring option principles and the run.

The West is only going to get tougher too with the money and coaches being hired.
