quote:You think correctly.
I think if you off the record asked Coach Raymond, Coach Chavis, or CLM whether they could have Hootie Jones or Jamal Adams, they would take the latter.
quote:He was plagued by an ankle injury a good part of the season.
Where are all of his highlights this year?
quote:why wait, you're on a roll, lol...
I have other random thoughts on Saban and Monroe that I'll save for another time.

Well, I don't see any of the NELA guys on here, and they probably could fill in some gaps for me, and it's late.
But, the just of it is I know a coach who was a QC for Saban a few years ago, and works all of his summer camps directly with Saban and the DB's. He works with other coaches who do the same. These coaches are paid well for their time, and many are from LA.
I believe there's 1 or 2 on the WM staff, or in the Monroe area. I don't think these guys are doing anything illegal, they're just Saban disciples. One of my sons did a workout recently with this coach, and he's a great, motivated guy. Dressed in crimson and white.
Same coach has worked with several of the present and past LSU players, and was set up to work with a prominent future player. Let's just say the staff got wind of this, and there will be no further contact.
The staff knows what is going on. Believe it or not, there's just some things that are out of your control. I have a passion for this game as much as I do LSU, and always pride myself on being able to call a spade a spade. There was a particular moment in the second half of the Arkansas game where I just had to say out loud, "How can you blame a kid for wanting to go somewhere else to get coached with attention to detail."
I love LSU, and the football program to a fault, and I will defend her, but there is definitely a lot that is best unsaid.
Like I said, a lot of random thoughts.
