The one by Bayou Bienvenue I think. As soon as you launch, it's the first one on your left.
You can catch them inside or outside of the first lock. I think we anchored in about 8-10 feet of water. We were using dead shrimp(yes I'm asian) and they were biting off plastics as well.

The old one that you have to pass through to get to the MRGO, correct? You're not talking about the lock on the new wall, correct?
And, dead shrimp sounds fine as apparently the live ones are freezing overnight.
