And while we're on the subject there apparently was ZERO discipline applied by Les Miles to Johnson despite his frequent frickups. The constant false starts, offsides, bad timeouts, etc. are symptomatic of a head coach that needs to stop chewing grass and start chewing arse.
I love Coach Miles but I agree with you Rex. I was very disappointed that Miles didn't at least bring him to the sideline to talk with him. I guess 5 offsides was Miles breaking point.

The offsides were all really bad. Not to mention converting a 4th down for them.

Neither ego nor freak are draft ready imo. They need to improve ALOT. Playing in the NFL means you are truly ?the best of the best. I guess a lot of guys have it twisted. Just because you play for lsu does not mean you are the best of the best. if they leave now i wouldnt be surprised if they were unemployed by september. The nfl is not guaranteed. Finish out your college career, become the best player you can be. Help bring this team a rinng. Go get your degree. And once youve finished your college career, go take the nfl by storm. Well be rooting for you

He really was horrible yesterday . If he leaves that impression as his last in that stadium he will regret that. No way he makes a roster in the nfl .

he definitely had two tackles. I know that for a fact.

Really don't know if I want him to come back or not.
We may be better off without him

Agreed. I haven't seen our DTs using their hands effectively to get off blocks. Seems like all they do is come straight up and try to out-muscle the blocker. Don't see them using any rips or swims effectively. This stuff worked in high school when he was a man amongst boys, but is not working at the college level and will not translate to the NFL at all.

Ego played hard and looked good, AJ seems to be a big body taking up space.

I never understood why Les can yank one player who makes 1 mistake but leaves another playing to repeat 1 after another after another...

He was probably gassed since he never comes out. Ever.

Freak was taken out of the game and had his arse chewed out twice. But of course y'all didn't see it or want to believe it didn't happen, Les sucks blah blah blah

I love seeing former Tigers playing for the Saints but if Ego and/or Freak declare this year, I hope the Saints stay away from both of them.
They may have NFL talent but they're not ready for primetime yet.
I hope some of our juniors learn from the mistake made by a few who declared too early last year. Some think the quicker you get to the NFL and complete your rookie contract...the quicker you can get the big payout. The problem is if you can't get through your rookie contract...you'll never get that payday.
Stay in school...earn your degree...become NFL-ready...and go make an impact.
Can you imagine leaving early only to be completely out of football a few months later...and then having to watch your college team play while sitting on your sofa?

Al woods is still in the nfl playing for pittsburg. He is also a great guy . Maybe he didn't live up to your expectations but he can play with the best of the best.
