See, you obviously aren't understanding the issues. College football will simply cease if students aren't allowed to get drunk, abusive, and scream obscenities on national TV. Oh, and there's nothing we can do about it. Oh yes, and it is a violation of their first amendment rights. It took me a while to grasp such sophisticated arguments but it all makes sense now.

You have the freedom of speech. Not the freedom from consequences.

Yell 'fire' in a crowded theater, **** to a black person, yell at the president during a speech. You will have consequences

You can yell profanities at a family oriented event. You will be removed
