I guess the level of opposition played a huge role (#12 team in the polls w/ Heisman winner on the other team). Too bad most future non-SEC opponents will be bottom-feeders or played in neutral venues.

Verne Lunquist said something several times about empty seats, plus, he favored Manziel and A&M. Got excited when they did good, it was obvious. I can't stand him. He needs to be neutral, but he's not. I hope the crowd stays more than earlier games. It is a trend though nationwide. Too many games on big TV's at home.
