They've played four road games. Excluding the Bucs who were a hot mess then I'd call the Patriots, Bears, and possibly the Jets competitive teams. They beat the Bears soundly, lost to the arguably inferior Jets, and lost in the closing seconds to the Patriots. I'd say that's about average. And yes I'm limiting it to this year because it's this year's squad that's going to go into Seattle two weeks from now.

Well alright. Limiting it this year alone I see your point. But I feel statiscally speaking the average is a better means of gauging a teams past and future sucess. I know there's alot of fail in that statement, but I feel we play better on the road then we are given credit for.

They are pretty evenly matched, the MNF game is likely to be game of the year, and will be like a playoff game.
I think they lucked out in a few games, especially because of situations. Rams and Texans blew those games. But they are a good, physical team regardless.
One thing to look at is how Seattle is after a bye week, which under Pete is 1-2. For some reason they tend to come out stale. If the Saints can jump out early, while Seattle is working out their kinks, I think they'd have a great shot of winning this. The Saints have improved stopping the run, and I think we can all agree this is the best defense of the Payton era, and it's not close. Can the Saints match their physicality? They will have to. They've shown they can play tough ball football instead of relying on being finesse.
And as much as I like Wilson, you have to give the edge to Brees in a close one.
If the Saints do their job against Atlanta, will this be the most excited you've been for a regular season game? I believe it will be for me.

Seattle is a very good team, but like many have said, their a bit overrated. That doesn't mean they suck, but the hype they get is a bit bad.
They've played one of the worst divisions in football in the AFC South, played the Falcons with significant injuries, nearly lost to a Bucs team playing with a rookie QB and nearly lost to the Rams who played a backup QB.
They are a good team and it will be tough to play them in Seattle, but their HFA is very overrated as well. I've been to that stadium multiple times at it's a tough place to play, but not impossible.

Btw, the Saints' schedule is harder than the hawks. Pete is good at getting weak schedules, look at USC past schedules.

How long have their O-lineman been out? Pretty sure they just came back this past weekend. Them getting Harvin back worries me because he gives them that explosive element on offense they didn't really have before.
I think it's going to be an absolute battle and it will really come down to turnovers. If we're even in the TO battle, I think we take it. That secondary just really has me nervous, bc when we run into teams with good, physical DBS, we tend to get pushed around. I just hope our offense comes to hit back.

Outside of Week 1 and the start of the Week 2 game, last week was the first week we've had all of our starting linemen back. We played with essentially 4 backups for about 7 weeks there.

Browner being out hurts Seattle quite a bit. I would have imagined that he would have matched up with Graham. Our backups have quite a bit of experience though since Browner was out a lot last year too. I'd imagine that Kam Chancellor will be on Graham during this game.

Yes we are. Every team has an occasional off week.
Really good teams have off weeks to bad teams and still win. The Saints had an off week to a team with maybe the worst QB in the league (Jets) and lost.

You can be the best team in football and be overrated. There is a perception that they are unbeatable at home. That is simply not true. The streak is impressive but put it into perspective. I think the fact that RW is a second year guy is lost on people sometimes because at times he is so good. He has had games where he has struggled mightily.

I was thinking this as well.
Honestly I think Sherman and Colston is almost a win for us if that makes sense, not in that Colston will get the upper hand but that such a dynamic guy would be locked on our 3rd option. I think we may see some Sherman on Graham now.
Can't wait for this game and think it will be awesome.

Quit being a pussy. The saints beat down the 49ers in every facet of the game Sunday and you know it. They couldn't muster 200 yards of offense against us and scored all their points on a short field due to 3 unforced, untimely turnovers by the saints. The score in no way reflects the ratio of performance of the two teams Sunday. Take away the gimmie points and it very well could have been a lopsided score with a possible goose egg for them. GFY.

Eh, there was an equally bad pass interference call that people don't remember which allowed Green Bay to score their go-ahead touchdown in the 4th quarter. Each call resulted in a TD, so I figure that we were even in that regard. Holding Rodgers and that GB offense to only 12 points was a pretty big feat on its own.
