If the Pels drop to a record of 3-9,4-8 or worse, while still looking horrid, then Monty needs to go, if for any other reason than to show the players that mediocrity will not be accepted. There is absolutely no reason for this team to lose 45+ games again this year, and they are on pace for much worse than that given 4 losses to mediocre to bad teams.

In the end, If they hit double digit losses before the 1st week of December is over, this team may very well be done.

There is a big stretch coming up in mid December where the team plays 10 out of 12 games on the road. That kind of a stretch could really kill the team if it's not at or near .500. It starts in 12 games, so if they go 5-7 before the stretch and then 5-7 during the road stretch, that leaves them at 13-20 overall. It'd take a monster effort the rest of the season to get close to the playoffs (32-17 the rest of the way). They need to get as many as these early games as possible..

The guy could reel off a 10 game winning streak and then lose 3 straight and everyone will be questioning his coaching ability again. The only consistent thing he has proven over the past few years is that he is an average to below average coach.

Dump him now and don't delay the inevitable.
