Tyrann is a special talent and overcame a lot to be in a position to succeed--in spite of some youthful indiscretions.
I hope that he and his family know that every LSU fan who isn't a thoroughbred dickbag is sincerely praying for him to succeed in the game and every facet of life.
He was THE playmaker in the greatest season in LSU history. No question.

A known fact that smoking weed almost always leads to harder drugs, coke etc...

thanks, good article.
to beat addiction you have to leave family and friends who are part of the disease.

Thank you speckhead and JackNola...I'm watching the effects of regular marijuana use in a teen very close to me. It is NOT pretty...and it has led to using harder, more debilitating drugs. I hope Tyrann stays away from it.

I'm not sure how this post became a marijuana debate, but since it has I will throw in my two cents. Marijuana, just like alcohol, is an adult drug. When used by adults, it's a much less dangerous and damaging drug than alcohol, by a long shot! Will some adults let it control and possibly ruin their lives? Of course. But some adults will also let alcohol, porn, gambling, sex, eating, and a host of other things ruin their lives. The only real problem I see with legalization is, how do you keep it out of the hands of our youth. However, if handled properly, I think legalization could actually help to do that, where as we have little or no control at present.

Yes and you just happen to know it's weed? Could be ANYTHING else in the world that does the same thing but YOU know it's weed. You have been brainwashed all your life and your parents, parents were brainwashed. If you can contend for the heisman all while failing multiple drug tests , why can't you count some change at the register?
Just stop it man.

cigarettes start all of it so are you going to make them illegal? Drinking is worth than both and kills thousands upon thousands every year.
When is the last time, you've heard of a weed related death, meaning smoking weed caused somebody to die?

Ain't it awesome that much of our fanbase threw him under the bus when it looked as though, he was going to throw it all away and now when it's looking like he's learned his lessons that all our fan's want to call him the honey badger and now they're all proud that he played for LSU ?(Now, he'll forever be an LSU Tiger. However, if He's messes up again, He'll be thrown in the trash again. Unless of coarse, he cleans himself off again.)
we funny sometimes.

Kid is an awesome player. I miss seeing him play for LSU. He seemed to be everywhere. Like there were two #7's out there.
"Wait, he was just over there.... how did he get over there and make that pick?"
He has uncanny football skills. Glad he's doing much better.
Good for him.

If you have children or if you think you might, do you want them regularly doing that? But be an enabler if you like ... because.. uh.. like, you know... it's far out man ... uh ... heh heh heh, like, you-know-what-I-mean dude ?
It's a damn shame there's so many brainwashed and naive people in this world. They watch a Jay and Silent Bob movie and believe that's exactly what smoking weed is, or any other drug for that matter. I'll let those people in on a secret: the stuff you see on TV or in movies isn't always true! Who woulda thought!!!

Glad he got away from that ERA Nation crew.

He also gave Les an undefeated reg season which will keep him off the hot seat for an extra year or two if things don't improve. I agree with you that he had plenty of chances to not screw up and he still did which was extremely dumb and selfish on his part and he had to deal with the consequences. So far it looks like he has matured and really has learned from his mistakes, so why not pull for a guy to turn his life around?

Because he fricked over the only connection he and I share? My alma mater and the school at which he played football. He was selfish and cost LSU a ton. Was given a 2nd chance. He should be in our secondary now and would be if he had not gotten busted again last spring. Do. Not. Care.

Glad he turned it aroud
would have been a lot gladder if he had turned it around after his suspension or his other suspension.
