To the OP, no.
My experience began as a child listening to games on the radio with my dad (too poor to take all 6 family members to many games). Incredibly fond memories with "the voice of the Tigers John Ferguson and Walter Hill". Success then was about beating rivals and getting a good bowl game - not so much winning championships.
Then I attended/graduated from LSU (BS Chem Engr, '85) and even lived in TS (SS #239) several semesters. So from childhood it's always been my school and my team and my traditions, and fun and disappointments.
I suppose the fun of winning NC's wouldn't have meant as much without the disappointment of getting ragged by my OM friends leaving MS Memorial Stadium in '75 (13-17L to OM) and the like over the years. I still get just as thrilled seeing TS for the first time on the way to a game as a starry-eyed boy in '70.
I don't think I live through it, I just deeply identify with it and pull for its greatest success.

I do too and have my line/threshold established. To see so many people here make vicious attacks at one another simply due to a differing opinion on firing Les is stupid.
