It's about being out of position that leads to arm tackling and having to dive to attempt to slow people down.

That comes down to execution from both the defensive line and the linebackers, coaches can only put the guys in the right places, players have to execute their assignments.

Diving at ankles (from the front) is the ultimate sign of fear and lack of confidence. If Mills had confidence he would put his head on the football and hit/wrap up like he's been taught since he was 7 years old.

This.

Plus it's not like these players aren't taught how to wrap up. They do it daily, and the coaching staff preaches it. It's all about attitude and being in the right position. Bama's players are in the right position significantly more than ours.
