Giving it to Copeland in the 1st place is a mistake when you have a horse like Jeremy Hill on your team. Hill will be picked in the first 3 rounds of the NFL draft and play on Sundays. Copeland might make a team and bounce around the league a while, but he has no running skills other than straight ahead steamrolling people. So yes, that in itself was a critical coaching error.
The defense was awful. No rush. Can't come close to stopping the run. LB's nonexistent. DB's vulnerable due to lack of rush. They have been exposed.
I see A&M hanging 50 on us with this defense.
