Couldn't blame this one on Les the Fill in your own Pejorative

Alabama simply had better players at almost every position except wide receiver.
The biggest disparity was at linebacker... C.J. Mosley was devastating, whereas the only memorable play by any of LSU's LB's was when Tahj Jones drew a roughing penalty on the sidelines.
Whatever magic Les Miles used to have at LSU is gone. Last night was a sad and watershed event; for the first time since his arrival we were glaringly out-talented. This wasn't Les getting outcoached, which has been the cause of just about every one of his previous losses... this one was about Les not having equal players. And while the former circumstance was infuriating this is now just sad. I think I'd rather be infuriated than sad.

It is his fault for not having the players to compete

Right. Can't blame the CEO for the performance of his organization.

Oh, but I DO blame him. It was inevitable... at some point his obvious lack of intelligence was going to catch up with him... and now it has. I wish he would just move on.

LSU in the first half was the better team which reflects the gameplan
BAMA in the second half was the better team which reflects saban's adjustments and their superior talent
The final six minutes was a worn out LSU getting their asses handed to them

Les Miles's coaching style has run its course. He was outcoached in this game because one team was more prepared, motivated more, and more disciplined in their responsibilities.
Our players were best physically and mentally. They just got their butts kicked. Neither the coaches nor the player could get their heads back in the game. When we tied it up... We should have been playing with some tenacity on defense. It wasn't there. Ia fake punt won them the game

My screen name stock is rising. Glad to see more people finally getting on board.

And the sad thing is everyone knew it was coming, except the coaches apparently! Hell, I know I was screaming watch the fake before they even took the time out.

LSU was in punt safe on the fake point
It was a well designed fake specifically for punt safe

Alabama didn't do anything shocking. They did what they always do. They are just that much better of a team and program.

True.
You can't overstate the effect of losing your starting junior class defense to the NFL.
Mett has been exposed as vastly overrated. He cannot check down, cannot feel pressure, cannot move in the pocket, cannot run when needed. He has a strong arm and is fairly accurate.
Love my Tigers but we're about to enter an extended rebuilding period. Will be interesting to see if Les remains through the whole process.

Less sucks. Lsu is doomed until he and 3rd & Chavis exit. 205 Lb linebackers I don't and never will understand.

Wut? He was the only bright spot last night

It was what we did to other people in 2011 to a T.
