Best herbicide for this time of year?

I'm mainly looking to get rid of the clovers that are popping back up.
I have Bermuda in the backyard and Centipede in the front.
I've grabbed random stuff off the shelf that was supposed to work, but didn't do a great job. Any specific recommendations? I'm willing to pay if it works well.

Permit for sedge. 2,4-d for clover. Or roundup for both late December or January.

Easy. Spot treat it with 2,4-D.
Buy a bottle of premixed Weed Free Zone (active ingredient is 2,4-D) and spray directly on the clovers. I do this myself all winter with great results. if you're in BR you can find it at louisiana nursery or clegg's. I've never been able to find it at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Does it kill anything else? Centipede is my main concern.

Not grasses, only broad leaf plants. You'll be okay.
Grasses are about to go dormant anyway.

Not the 150#s of Rye grass that I just planted.
I say that till I have to cut it all winter.

You got tricked, fair and square.
However, thanks for the knowledge. Will be getting some for the small patches that I still have. How much is necessary?

I put 2 oz per gallon. We buy it by 2 1/2 gallons.

I have centipede and it's fine.
Just an fyi that dormant does not mean dead. If you roundup your grass while it's brown in the winter you'll have dead spots come spring. I've made this mistake myself. I saw someone mentioned roundup earlier in the thread.
