He's being sarcastic. Jimmy has ridden Gage's jock all year long to where he's getting creepy so it's no shock at all Gage is on his list. He did the same thing with Rod Crayton last year and look how that turned out.
All Jimmy does is pick a few lesser talked about recruits and hopes LSU takes him so he can act like he's some prophecy and brag he called it all along

In the event we get Hootie or Adams do we really need Gage? I would much rather get Kenny Young or Garrald Mcdowell considering the sorry state of our front seven.

there is a reason we havent offered gage...adams or someone similar comes, gage is out
we will all know more after the OV's attend the tamu game. im pretty sure adams and some other big prospects off of the radar will be in visiting that weekend

And besides one play in garbage time what has LC done to show anyone he's better? They're both third string safeties with mostly special teams experience. LC is only starting because the two guys in front of him are out for the year.

If that were true he'd be committed. He may be a great plan B that we're lucky to have waiting in the wings, but he's still plan B.

The players ahead of LC are better than the ones ahead of Thompson and LC has played better when he has been on the field.

I agree 100%. If we don't somehow find room for him two years from now the recruiting gurus will be out in full force posting "How did we let him get away". We need some quality depth at LB.
