Because you disagree with his opinions does not mean he doesn't feel strongly about his own.
Being dismissive and smug is a horrible trait. Your lack of hearing others beliefs is complete ignorance. because you believe differently from others, then you immediately attack and ignore. No one is asking you to believe what they believe, but dismissing their opinions simply becuase you disagree with them is weak.
