Looking at 2008 was reasonable. It's a five year window for all the teams.

I've only evaluated a few teams, but based on final Coaches' poll rankings since 2008, the following teams' final rankings have average:

1) Bama - 3.8
2) Oregon - 6
3) Boise St - 8.8
4) tOSU - 9.6
5) TCU - 10.8
6) OU - 11
7) UF - 13
8) LSU - 13.4
9) Stanford - 14
10) UT - 15.4
11) OSU - 16.2
12) Va Tech - 16.4

And this isn't looking at every team. This is just looking at a handful, so 4 teams have average top 10, and remember this is assuming a rank of 26 for unranked teams.

Again, I am not saying Les sucks. He's a good coach, but he is not deserving IMO of his salary.

Oregon OSU and FLA had multiple coaches over that span. So only 2 programs (Bama and Oklahoma) have coaches with better average final rankings over the last 5 years. I'd say Les is getting paid fair market value.

Average = 14.6

Tryin' to slip one past the goalie there?
