Oregon 45
Stanford 17

Honestly, Stanford really isn't that great of a team. They've been out-gained in total yardage in four of their last six games. Against Washington, they were out-gained by nearly 200 yards. Against Oregon State, they only had 12 1st downs for the entire game. They lost to a Utah team that has a .500 record and lost three of their four games with their only win coming against Stanford. Their average scoring margin is +12 PPG which is very, very pedestrian for a top 10 ranked much less a top 5 ranked team. This Stanford team really isn't that much better than the Miami team that FSU hammered last week. Oregon will beat Stanford handily tonight.

Stanford reminds me a lot of Bama, but with less depth at the skill positions and inferior coaching. They're a power run team that could lean on that and win as long as their defense keeps the opponent under wraps, but you can only hold UO and Mariota down for so long before they break one or two long ones on you.

Hogan is still green and it showed during the Utah game, and Shaw basically turtled with his playcalling in that contest. I don't have a lot of confidence in him to win "the big games."

Stanford is good enough to beat most teams on most nights, but not this team on this night.

UO -41
Stanford -31
