I think Quarterman's length is going to be a huge plus in Jones' defensive system. Also, he may be able to make a free throw. The other thing is that it gives you height at one of the guard spots next to Stringer. You can switch and allow Stringer to guard the opposing PG and Quarterman can handle the bigger 2s.

I would not be surprised at all to see it stick. Hickey could be your spark plug off the bench with one of our taller 2s.

I think this is what Coach wants to see in the exhibition (among other things). I'm not reading too much into this news though. Our starting 5 will change pretty often this season.

I think coach likes quartermans length on opposing PGs. Try to force someone else to make the final pass. With his length he can get steals and deflections alot

I would be surprised to see as much straight man to man out of this team in the half court this year. I would assume we would see more of Jones' trapping zones this year, though perhaps he will do what he did a lot of last year which was fall back in to man when not using his pressure scheme.
