Carvin amp question for guitarists

I was looking at buying an all-tube head. I like to play hard rock. I like my clean channel to be clean channel.
I was looking at these Carvin amps because it looks like you really get a lot of bang for your buck. Has anyone played these amps? If so, how is the tone? Carvin V3. It looks like it has great tubes and all the features of the current amps in the $1100-2200 price ranges. Lots of great reviews on the site...but that doesn't mean much.
A Marshall JVM205H is the other amp I was considering which is quite a bit more expensive and a 50W amp which is probably plenty for me. I really don't need many channels because I'll probably just use it for recording one track at a time.
Anyone have any other great amps that they are playing on for hard rock?
Current gear: ADA MP-2 (I know...I know...but it's awesome with some really great tones), Rocktron power amp (I want tube power) and Peavy Valveking 412 cab.

My amp of choice is a THD univalve with a 6v6 power tube. Play it thru a closed back avatar 2-12 with a Celestion greenback and a Celestion blue. Love the sound of this rig. I have a marshal TSL 602 that I probably haven't switched on in 2 years. Main guitar is a 2007 les paul custom antique ebony which I also like the sound of. Experiment as much as is practical with different amps in your price range, your bound to fall in love with one of them just like I did. Good luck!
