I would love to be able to afford a 6.7. It's just out of my budget for now. Thanks for the input. The shopping continues.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking for a tow vehicle and not going to spend 40k plus on a thrid vehicle, especially with the amount of money I have tied into my jeep.

Whats your budget? Why a diesel? and how long do you plan on keeping it?

Best of luck to you.

For your budget, it's gonna be easier to find a late model Duramax. I honestly would not own a Ford diesel previous to the 6.7.

That said, any diesel w/o a ton of miles is gonna be hard to find. Clean, used trucks are difficult to find anyway and finding diesels that aren't wore slap out is really tough.
