He was an amazing deal for €10m but now that he's looking like Messi-lite the likely price tag may not be worth the risk he re-injures that knee.
What he offers is rare though when he's in form as he can pass, hold up, score but also blast by numerous defenders in that central position.
It will be interesting to see how he plays with a target #9 when Mario Gomez returns (and with Balotelli for Italy).

Wasn't he dead set on playing in Italy? Fiorentina has made some great deals the past couple of summers..
