I know Arkansas is bad, but...
Yep, forgot about Arkansas. shite.

I got watch the 1982 live in Legion Field and I can tell you it was great to watch an LSU team step up and play like a real football team. I was in T_Town when LSU shut Alabama out at 26-0 and it was great to watch their stands clear out when the fourth quater starter.
That being said, I would really enjoy watching LSU win another big game but I hate say that I do not see this team or coaches having the ability to step up and win a big one.
This team on offense is to much confined to 4 players and nobody on defense. Ole Miss proved that covering Beckham & Landry in the passing game is all you have to do. Mett does not look to anyone else and even Furman figured that much. In the running game, just follow the fullback to where LSU is going. That is a great way to run the offense. You might can be someone like Furman doing that, but forget it against Alabama.
If someone making 4 million dollars a year doesn't start coaching pretty soon, he will find himself with 5 losses for the first time in his career at LSU!!!

Ironic that you typed the word "foe" ... because you seem like a "foe" of LSU in the majority of your posts. Freudian slip?

The gloom n doom has already taken over this fan base and I don't think it's fixable. It's really disappointing.

I guess you and my fingers know me better than I know myself.

Doom and gloom is an exaggeration. If LSU plays a nearly perfect game, we can beat Bama. No one has been able to knock Bama off its perch. A few have come close but until it happens their arrogance and entitlement will persevere. It sucks that Bama got a free pass in '11. But now LSU has to end Bama's winning streak and reclaim its status as an elite, feared SEC team rather than a team that struggles to contend for a division title.

I think we can all agree that your fandom could use a little work. Trust me--you're way worse a fan than Les Miles is a coach.

well the tigers did lose to ole miss's 2nd string.
Now the team gets to play the #1 teams 1st string so there is that.

Guys get fricking carried away with the outcome of games.
We can actually play well and still lose vs Bama. If that happens I'm fine. It will not be some kind of ominous sign of things to come if that happens.

That's simply not true. Just because I bitch about Miles doesn't mean I don't love LSU. I grew up on it. I'll always love it. Not liking Miles=\=not liking LSU.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble.

Yep. LSU is basically a 4-5 man team. They'll send a lot of people at Mett, blanket Landry and OBJ, and stuff the run.
It's going to be a shocker for many of our fans.

Hold on to that %80 and bowl losses brother.

I'm more worried how LSU looks vs A&M, and hopefully will beat Arkansas. Many will be surprised if we keep the game close vs bama.

The 80% and bowl losses aren't mine. They have nothing to do with me (or you).
Do some work, and maybe someday you won't be the shitty fan you are now. But you'll need some work. Learn how to have a good time and not be a drag. To put it more simply, relax and grow up.

this is 100% spot on imo. if our coaches don't plan for this and throw to others right from the get go thay are dumb. while bama is doubling obj and landry hit the te, the rb or the
#3 wr. make the bastard pay. i think bama's weakness is their secondary and their strength is their front 7 so if we attack the front 7 from possession one, it will be 01/09/12 all over again and we sure don't have the D to keep it to 3 td's.
