Explain the difference then.

How does the PS4's 5 jiggowatts of DURRRR Heavy Duty Ram 4x4 compare to the 3 jigs of DRPEPPR in the One? And how exactly will this difference in hardware affect graphics?

acting stupid because you dont understand the spec difference doesn't make them any closer.

its quite simple really. one has a GPU that is 1.84 teraflops, the other is 1.3(and they admitted 10% was reserved for os/kinect ontop of that). one has gddr5 ram the other ddr3. one has a massive problem with 32mb esram that is struggling to push a 1080p frame buffer.

CoD is 720 on Xbox and 1080 on PS4. also looking like BF4 might be in the same situation. its 720 on xbox but no word on ps4 res yet.

the power difference is real whether you choose to believe it or not but if all your friends are getting xbox or you are a huge halo fan buy that. otherwise the cheaper more powerful and easier to develop for system with many more first party devs is the no brainer.

Shinji Mikami, creator of Resident Evil, has said that there is “no real difference” between next-generation console specifications. “We only need one console,” he said in an interview with Edge magazine, as reported by The Sixth Axis.

“Why do I have to make two versions of a game?” he continued. “And when Xbox One was first announced, it had lower specs than PS4, but now they’re almost identical. So either will do.”

From the mouth of an actual developer this week. The specs you quoted are old.

Also, can you provide a link to the 720/1080 stuff? TIA.
