Monty's Job Security

I am not sold on him as a coach in certain situations, especially late game. Do you see a scenario where he does not make it through the season as this team is built to win now.

monty isn't even remotely on the hot seat. It would take a monumental frick up of a season for him to not make it through imo
he along with thibodeau(one of the best coaches in the league) were brought on to the team usa coaching staff. monty is held in high regard, less so by some of the hornets/pels fans but he isn't in danger of losing employment by any stretch

to be fair, this question was asked ad nauseum a few months back. you're new, so that's totally fine. welcome to the board
IMO, the only way monty gets fired is if the team (fully healthy) is below .450-.500 on the season or if there is some ridiculous awful start to the season (like 5-20), as someone else said.

I like Monty and think he has done real well with what we have had. However he has not had any expectations set on him in the past and has gotten the most of his teams in the past. However we have come up short a lot in the past and what if that continues to happen with better players. Living on the MS Gulf Coast I always thought he was awesome when I looked at the box scores. Watching them on TV last year made me question him more than in years prior.

If we start losing games late in the season with a playoff spot on the line by blowing it within the last 5 minutes of games just like we were doing time and time again last year, then Monty's seat deserves to be red hot.
