Griffin was in the airport on his way to sign with St Louis (Bradford injury) and just before his flight, the Saints called him up and told him to come back.

No clue. I don't have a link but I'm 100% sure this happened.

Odd that he would be on the plane before hearing from the saints.

Dammit. I've gotta go to the Airport Chili's and get the skinny from Old Man Harper.

Would guess Dawson would be the first to go.

It's like a soap opera
This is interesting, because I wonder how much potential the Saints see in RG4... I hope he's the answer after Brees.

It's amazing that in this day and age, that a talking K-9 from Rhode Island can some day become an NFL QB.

two big plus signs for his outlook going forward- a team ready to promote him and Saints liking him enough to promote over losing.
That said, Arrington turned down roster offers from other teams to stay with the Saints too.
GUESS THE CORRESPONDING MOVE-
I go Sweeting to the PS

The dog's name is Brian not Ryan

Maybe for this year, but I don't see him as being Drew's replacement. Not really keen on his abilities, arm strength ave and accuracy ave. I think this may be the year to pick up a good qb for the future. One who is accurate on the move outside the pocket.

I like Griffin as much as everyone else but something in me is saying that we did it to try and get something in return instead of just letting him walk. Hope I am wrong

They must be worried about Drew's arm strength

Why would he give up an opportunity to see the field in St Louis to be a back up here?

No team out there is giving anything for Ryan Griffin.

this is my take...and why hope it's wrong? It's smart if that's the idea.
