good post bc you do hate on miles a lot but this is a fair statement.
hanagriff pointed out afterwards that miles always steps up and accepts blame. coaches dont get fired they find another job. he takes blame for losses and player mistakes.
i don't have a problem with hill or any other back sitting a bit when he fumbles. hilliard came in and had success. they just so happen to be on those INT drives.
would love to have those three drives back.
miles did make it sound like the players didn't take it one play at a time and tried to win the game on a single play over and over. (i guess like a batter always going for fences). that the players felt we should've been up early.
it was hanagriff who again ponited out that the players probably heard how banged up ole miss was and maybe they made them out to be an easier opponent.
that was probably partly what miles was talking about during the press conf. maybe he didn't bring the same intensity to players or portray every opponent as tough yada yada
