Any guesses as to what facts Bob Costas will enlighten us with?

Government deficit? Gay rights? Boy Scouts defacing 200 million year old artifacts?
I, for one, can't wait to learn this delightful little man's feelings during my football game. It's tough to find a political opinion on TV nowadays so I'm glad to have one combined with the game.

Grambling deserves a bailout

Right, we should just leave politics to all the geniuses on every major "news" network.

That you started a really shitty thread on the More Sports board.

That you are a sensitive douchebag waiting to be offended.
Just like those "liberals" you bitch about.

I don't mind his editorials, he is a respected figure in sports. What I object to is when he tries to be funny, because he's not.

What I object to is NBC thinking it's a good idea to revel us in a political opinion during a football game. I guess Bob doesn't think its too bad of an idea either if he's willing to do it.

I think that NBC sees it as an opportunity due to them having a captive audience.

Costas is great. Very reasonable when delivering his views.

ballscaster's real identity has not yet been ascertained

People flip out because they can't stand somebody espousing a view differing from theirs. I am opposed to his gun views, but since I'm not in preschool, I can sit and listen to his opinions and not get my pullups in a wad over it.

I dont mind the commentary because every network has a view and they pay good money so they paid to do what they want.
But he's not really reasonable. O and a break it down when he does it and even people who agree with his point thinks he comes off ignorant and pompous. But majority of a football crowd is ethier too offended to listen or stupid enough to think if they agree with him then they are smart.
Last week was a weird time to come out offended after all his years in sport. Instead of trying tojoin the latest hot button issue to get yourself to be the topic of it, pick a topic you feel passionate about and lead that charge instead of just being a follower trying to make it about you

quote:He never said he was offended. He never gave an opinion on what he thought Snyder should do. He was very reasonable. The most overly sensitive people about this issue—ie, the people who cry "pussification of America" 8 times a day over this—overreacted.

I don't want ANY political commentary in my sports. Sports is a way to get away from the real world. I don't care if I agree with what is being said or not.

His view was from the offended side. Even some people who agreed withwanting the name change were yuck on his take.

Hoping for gays. Anything gay!

I say that he will try to convince us to sign up for obamacare as soon as possible.
