We'd have put the game away by then if, earlier on, ZM hadn't killed two drives that should've given us 14 points. We should've gone into halftime with at least a 7 point lead.
Mettenberger and shitty defense cost us this game. And I agree with the OP that our defense, young or old or whatever, just isn't very good. And if they've been "coached up" it sure doesn't show out on the field.
