a) when Mett started to push the ball and being intercepted, the COACHES should have immediately stepped in and said, "take what they give you"
Do you honestly think they didn't tell him this? I mean do you think he went to the sideline, got on the headset and Cameron was like :"yeah Zach that throw looked good, keep chucking down field to a wr that's double covered, we'll show their asses! "
I DO blame Cameron for not running it 55 tines on them.

mett got a little cocky threw two passes in double coverage and had open wr below them. our def did exactly what they did against Georgia, it just ain't that good and it is really showing.

This defense is going to be very good next year. Unfortunately we are going through growing pains this season.

First off, I'm not defending Leslie by no stretch, but we should've run for 300+ yards last night. It was clear Ole Miss was geared to stop the passing attack giving us the 2-deep safety look all night. If we want to be considered an elite offense, we should be able to take advantage of strategies like this. Second, Mett was way to impatient in the first half. The intermediate throws in the middle of the field were there, but Mett continued to be greedy and force the ball into double and sometimes triple coverage. Now for the D, well no comment needed.
This exactly. Spot on. Also no adjustments made- just kept riding the same sick mule
into the second half :beatdeadhorse:

...Team was FLAT , seemed unprepared ... I think coaches and players subconsciously thought they would "cruise" to a "no sweat" win .. got in too big a hole , then couldn't climb out when it finally dawned on them the Rebs weren't gonna hand it to them ( though they tried in the 2nd half ) .. worst game of the year for the Tigers - and THAT should NOT come in game 8 ...

yada yada yada..
Miles, Cameron, Chavis......oh yeah, right....
Players need to play.....we don't got none!
No heart, no fire, no want to, no leadership....
I miss Honey Badger

Calling the same play on all 3 of the picks has to fall somewhere on Cam.
Cam doesn't decide where to throw, that's Mett's call. He had a bad game; accept it.

The running out of the I with two receiver sets drives me nuts. Spread the fricking field, Miles is a fricking Dinosaur he is losing top talent because his philosphy of offense does not fit with what the kids want to play in.

Coaches looked lost and the team looked totally unprepared.
That seems to happen every frickin week.

And whose fault is that? Not the players, they don't make the calls or prepare the team all week. I'm so sick of the subpar coaching on this team, I'm going to kick my dog next time I see him.

I've calmed down enough since last night to agree with this. Also, I believe the team as a whole took them lightly because there were so many injuries to Ole Miss' defense.

Bottom line is the talent in the SEC west is more balanced, so game planning and schematics become more important when you simply can't wear out your opponents with athleticism. This is what has most fans concerned...

I put this squarely on metts 3 picks in the redzone and the defense for not stopping ole miss in crucial 3rd and long situations.
