Anyone else think this movie is comparable to Garden State?

I remember back to them about on the same level in terms of movie quality but I enjoy Perks much more than Garden State.

And to the poster that mentioned it, yes, the movie is very liberal hipster but the story in the movie is pretty amazing. The characters are so good in Perks that you get emotionally invested in all of them, even the closet homo jock that really isn't in the movie a lot.
