The only blemish in this 6 year dynastic run by the Tide has to be blowing the 24-0 lead to Auburn
Utah isn't a blemish? How about losing the Game of the Century at home? Or the next year to A&M?
Not saying Alabama doesn't deserve the praise they do because they really have been amazing, but they have lost two November home games in back-to-back seasons. If the cards fall differently (such as Oregon, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State not choking) there are threads on here talking about how big of a fail Alabama has been.

so they lost close home games to a pretty good LSU team and Manziel.. it happens.
It's hard to go unblemished. A lot of perfect champions benefited from tremendous luck or easy schedules.

It is.

Stupid decisions to kick long FGs kicked ourselves, LSU was a great team, but 1/9 proved 11/15 was a fluke.

Lost to arguably the best on the field player in CFB history.

And hasn't lost on the road in three years, plus two dominating BCS Title performances.

Almost every season ever has had something like this happen.
