What LSU's D did in 2011 with the atrocious offense they had against MUCH better offensive competition than Alabama played is a miracle.

Our defense was better than yours. There is no argument.

First off, LSU's offense wasn't atrocious in 2011. It wasn't the best ever, but was a top 5 ever LSU offense and for most of the year was dominant save 2 or 3 games.
The problem people have saying Bama was the better team because of 21-0 is the fact remains that despite that game, LSU had a better record and SEC title. Bama won the NC that year, but the fact they couldn't defend their actual home turf against LSU earlier in the season proves they weren't the best hands down.
With everything in their favor they lost. When they had an advantage (more rest, easier overall schedule, and more time to plan for LSU), they won.
That said, this Bama team has nothing on that Nebraska run.
