Every student on that campus should have first dibs at every seat in that stadium before anyone else. Like the chants or not, the student section gives life to the stadium. without the students, that place would be like The Box on a Sunday afternoon vs a non conference opponent.

I seriously don't know how our attendance issues are blamed on the students. Have you seen the lower bowl after half, it's half empty. To be honest the only people who actually value their tickets are those in the upper deck, and I sit in the lower bowl so I'm not biased.
