had my Mister Twister for 6 years. Didn't burn up.
You think those serrated edges on that Dexter Russel will hold up that long?

i've got a rapala i've had for several years that came with two sizes of blades and runs either AC or DC. its held up to trout, reds, black drum, trigger fish, snapper, ling, bass, etc. however, i don't try and saw through rib cage bones on bigger fish with it. there isn't an electric knife on the market that can do that repeatedly and i doubt there ever was.
if more fishermen would try and filet the meat off a fish with some finess instead of hacking away most knives would last longer.

I've used the same serrated dexter for 2 years and cleaned many snapper and other large scaled fish with it . I've also burned up 5 electric knives in that same time.

Not to mention I tend to butcher the frick out of bigger fish with electric knives.
