Less than a month to go and work has never been busier. I doubt I'll hit 10k before the season starts. 120 days.

Guess we know where your priorities are.

I'm glad someone bumped this thread to save me from having to start another one.
According to PM and Alan Dunn at the Coaches Committee meeting Tuesday night we've got 3 pitchers with sore arms and will be shut down "for a while" this fall. They hope they will be able to pitch some more before fall practice ends but it's day-by-day for now.
The pitchers are Po'-shay, Doo'-mang and Awn-ree' Foo'-shay.
Apparently having Cajun names causes sore arms in the fall.....

Yeah, but we know ell is a real person. I still think you're rabbit's alter, talkin about wife's private parts and such.

Cajuns are pussies
That sucks though. Domangue looked good last week.

Damn, expected big things out of Poche and Domingue this year. Hopefully they can get the work in before the year so they can pitch against our usual cupcake OOC schedule.

thanks for the info should add to OP.
no reason to overwork... shelve anyone that had a long summer and get these guys back rejuvenated and 100% in the spring. we will need 5 full months of solid production from the full rooster.

By "shut down" that means no mound work, I'm guessing. They may still be doing bands, conditioning, therapy and light side work. They'll keep strengthening, staying flexible, and keep their "feel".

I could see that if there was an actual injury or micro-tears. Could be different for each guy.

I'm sure it will vary, but my guess is no live action and depending on the guy, they may or may not throw some bull pens. I'd also think that team workouts will continue. That's only my guess of course.

I was thinking about heading out there in a few minutes. Scrimmage doesn't start until 7?

I guess. I'm heading there now hoping they start the scrimmage a little early.

Maybe I'll see you there.
