Very encouraged - but season could still go either way.

I'm very encouraged by what I've seem from the team so far. Offense can air it out or grind it out. Defense is starting to come on and special teams, though quiet recently, are always a threat.

That being said, of the 5 games remaining, expect 3 to be very competitive. Ole Miss is very depleted but always plays us tough. On paper, we should win this one in a walk, but we'll see. Furman will be outmatched. Alabama - always tough and we play them on the road. A&M - we catch them at home but I expect that to be down to the wire. Arkansas - depending on how the previous two games have gone, this could be a game with championship implications or an afterthought. I'll be there for the last game of the season.

We are 6-1 and a strong, talented, multi-dimensional all caps TEAM. Will be very interesting to see how the next few weeks unfold. We can still play for the crystal, but things have to happen for us. Let's just win them all and see how it shakes out.

If I was an opposing coach with post season ambitions, LSU would be front and center in my mind. Hope the team has grown up and can fight through the adversity that awaits.

Point is - we are still in it but not home.

Honestly, picking outcomes has never been my strength, and the key thing I haven't seen from this team is their ability to come back from behind. So that is what they have to prove. They have the talent and coaching to be in every game, but do they have the will? That's the fun or frustrating part about every year. They are all different.

Wasn't trying to predict the outcome - just sum up where we are so far and look at what still lies ahead.

And just so you know -- my name is Daniel. Have a good one.

You sound like my ex. Her assessment of every situation is that there is a 50/50 chance. "Well, either it will or it will not happen, so see it's 50/50. Anything else is just dumb."

I agree w everything exceot the part about coming from behind. We've done that already. Running 2 min. Offense to completion (FG or TD) is what may be needed IMO.

Never said 50/50. Already said predicting is not my strength and the key ingredient, I think, is can they come from behind to win. Haven't seen it yet - they couldn't get it done against GA but the D has been stepping up since then.
